It's been such a great week and we are looking forward to a fabulous Friday tomorrow. We have lots of exciting things happening at AES! Here are a few important dates and reminders to keep on your radar.
Ice Cream Friday – Tomorrow!
Ice cream will be available for $1 tomorrow. Please send money with your child in the morning so it can be collected before 8:00. Remember we do not accept money for ice cream after 8:00.
AES Spirit Wear Friday – Tomorrow!
Tomorrow is also Spirit Wear Friday! Send your Tiger decked out in AES gear or our school colors and help us fill the school with Auburn pride! 💙🧡We will have more CHEE athletes at car riders in the morning.
Fall Fundraiser Kicks Off Tomorrow!
Our Fall Fundraiser officially begins tomorrow! Information will be coming home with students, so be on the lookout. Your support helps us provide additional opportunities and experiences for our Tigers. Sell, sell, sell!
Intruder Drill – Tomorrow
We will conduct an intruder drill tomorrow. Students and staff will practice going to their designated safe location. We always reassure students that this is only practice and they are safe, but we wanted families to be aware in case your child comes home and talks about the experience.
Wednesday Folders
Wednesday Folders should have come home yesterday. Please take a few minutes to review the information inside and return the folder to school no later than tomorrow.
Scholastic Book Fair | September 14–21
It’s almost time to Camp Out With a Good Book! Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon, and families can begin setting up their eWallets now so students are ready to shop!
Grandparents’ Breakfasts + Book Fair Week
We are excited to welcome our grandparents to AES during Book Fair week! Grandparents can enjoy breakfast with their Tiger and then visit the Book Fair.

Parent Lunches Begin September 11
Beginning Friday, September 11, parents may join their child for lunch. Please remember that a valid photo ID is required to sign in. Parents and their child will sit at the designated parent table, and no additional students may join. Outside restaurant/fast food is not permitted—you may bring a meal packed from home or purchase a school lunch. Ice cream cannot be purchased during parent lunch visits.

Don’t forget to purchase your AES Yearbook so your Tiger has a keepsake filled with all the memories, friendships, and special moments from this school year! NOW is the lowest price they will be.
No School Reminder
There will be no school Friday, September 4 or Monday, September 7.
