We have several exciting things happening at Auburn Elementary! Please take a few minutes to review these important reminders and upcoming dates.
PARENT LUNCH VISITORS BEGIN TOMORROW!
We are excited to begin welcoming parents and family members to join their child for lunch beginning tomorrow, Friday, September 11!
A few reminders to help visits run smoothly:
- Please limit lunch visitors to no more than 2 guests per child.

Know your child's scheduled lunch time before arriving. Please do not arrive significantly early or late. Right on time is best!
- All visitors must check in through the front office and present a valid photo ID before entering the school.
- Please do not park along the street or in the doctor's office parking lot across the street.
- If our main parking lot is full, additional parking is available at the Perry Rainey Center or in our side teacher parking lot if spaces are available.
Thank you for helping us manage the additional traffic and visitors while keeping our school safe!
À LA CARTE ITEMS BEGIN NEXT WEEK
Students will be able to purchase à la carte items during lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. À la carte items will not be sold on Thursdays or Fridays.
- Students may only purchase during their scheduled lunch period and must have sufficient funds in their lunch account at the time of purchase.
DOT DAY - Tuesday, September 15th
We’ll celebrate International Dot Day on Tuesday! Dot Day is all about encouraging students to be creative, have courage, and “make their mark.” Students are invited to wear dots as we celebrate the unique difference each Tiger can make!
BOOK FAIR and GRAND PARENTS DAY IS NEXT WEEK!
Book Fair is next week! Pamphlets have been sent home.
Please wait to send Book Fair money until your child’s scheduled shopping day. Teachers will communicate their class shopping day. We are also excited to welcome our Tiger grandparents and special guests for breakfast from 7:00–7:30 a.m., followed by a visit to the Book Fair!
Monday, Sept. 14 – Kindergarten
Tuesday, Sept. 15 – 2nd Grade
Wednesday, Sept. 16 – 1st Grade
Thursday, Sept. 17 – PreK & 3rd Grade
Friday, Sept. 18 – 4th & 5th Grade
Guests should enter using the ramp leading to the cafeteria. We can’t wait to welcome you!
FUNDRAISER DEADLINE EXTENDED!
Good news—you have ONE MORE WEEK to sell! The fundraiser deadline has been extended one week from the date printed on the original paperwork. All fundraiser money AND order forms should be returned Thursday, September 17.
